Battery Passport Content Guidance

Battery Pass will publicly launch the “Battery Passport Content Guidance” on 17 April 2023 at Hannover Messe hosted by the Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate Action (BMWK).

Agenda of the launch event:  

• 11.15 am – 11.45 am: Handover ceremony planned with Parliamentary State Secretary Michael Kellner (BMWK), Sophie Herrmann (Partner, Systemiq GmbH) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Weber (President, acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering).
• 11.45 am – 12.30 pm: Panel discussion and Q&A session with Ilka van Dalwigk (European Battery Alliance Policy Manager, EIT InnoEnergy), Dr. Torsten Freund (Head of Project Management Office Battery Passport, Global Battery Alliance), Dr. Franz Geyer (Head of Strategy Zero Emission Mobility and R&D Collaboration, BMW Group) and Uwe Seidel (Head of Section Systemic Environmental Innovation and Industrial Policy, VDI/VDE-IT GmbH). Moderated by Stephanie Schenk (Systemiq GmbH) and Dr. Johannes Simböck (acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering).
