EBA250 Virtual Meetup: Digitalisation as a driver for innovations along the battery value chain
EBA250 Virtual Meetups are open to all EBA250 members of our network to get insights on latest development and important process impacting the development of the European Battery Allliance. The next online event will take place on Tuesday 16 November, 13:00-14:30 CET and will focus on digitalisation.
In her State of the Union address on 15 September 2021, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen emphasized digitalisation as the make-it-or-break-it issue for Europe.
The role of new IT technologies as a spur for new innovative products and services as part of the twin green and digital transition were also highlighted at the launch of the proposed battery regulation last year.
Without a doubt, digitalisation will play a crucial role for the development of batteries as part of the green transition in an electrified society. Digital solutions will be key to increase transparency and traceability of battery materials, to support productive maintenance of batteries in various applications and to optimise energy storage systems and e-mobility solutions.
In this webinar, we will elaborate on the role digital solutions can play for innovations and novel business models and services in all the parts of the battery value chain.
