Hannover Messe | EU-Norway: strategic partnership on raw materials and batteries

If you are attending Hannover Messe this year, make sure to join the panel discussion on the EU-Norway strategic partnership on raw materials and batteries.

On March 21st, Maroš Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight of the European Commission, and Jan Christian Vestre, Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) launching a strategic partnership to develop sustainable land-based raw materials and battery value chains. This is an important building bloc and another tangible result of the EU-Norway Green Alliance, announced by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre in April 2023.

Organised by Innovation Norway and moderated by EBA250 Programme Director Thore Sekkenes, the panel will discuss the investment needs and the potential for EU-Norway cooperation in raw materials and battery value chains.
