Welcome to a webinar series dedicated to Nordic collaboration and opportunities in a booming battery industry

The goal towards net-zero emissions along with market specific regulations and other catalyzing activities have initiated a deep transformation of the energy and transport sectors. Europe is working actively to build an independent and sustainable battery value chain to support its transformation. The Nordic region is playing a major role in this. Not only the region builds a Nordic value chain integrated to the European development, it also contributes to a global zero carbon future by delivering leading technology solutions and services. How the Nordic countries work together will therefore define the region’s smart energy approach, but also the wider European and global context. But what needs to be done to maximise resources and expertise from all actors across the Nordics and what are the current challenges and opportunities in a highly dynamic and fast-paced ecosystem?

The Nordic Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) together with the EBA250 initiative organise the Nordic Battery Thursdays series which support and feature events hosted by Finland, Sweden, Finland and EBA250.

The framework for continued collaboration between Nordic nations, the current and future needs of the industry, and the Nordic region’s green battery value proposition are being built and developed and will serve as foundation for discussion. The overall purpose of these online events is to promote Nordic strong holds and competences on sustainable battery value chain towards both the Nordic region and international markets.
