Webseries #1: The opportunities, challenges and decisive needs for recycling

Currently the volume of recovered metals used in battery manufacturing is low. The Nordic countries have recognised recycling as a critical part of the battery value chain with an abundance of initiatives for ramping up and enhancing the recyclability of batteries and battery materials as well as the possibility of re-usage (e.g. storage units).
The Nordic Trade Promotion Organisations Innovation Norway, Business Finland, and Business Sweden together with the EBA250 initiative – the Industrial development program of the European Battery Alliance driven by EIT InnoEnergy – invite Nordic, European and global battery value chain players interested in the Nordic battery value chain to participate in this webinar on Thursday, May 19th,2022 at 09:00-10:30 CET / 10:00–11:30 EET.
The overall purpose of the webinar is to promote the Nordic drive for a sustainable battery value chain towards both the Nordic region and international markets. This particular webinar will focus on recycling and include inspiring setting of company examples.
The 2022 webinar series is planned in cooperation between Business Finland, Business Sweden, Innovation Norway, and EBA250. Participation is free of charge and open to all but registration is required. For more information and to register, please go to the Nordic Battery Thursdays event webpage.
