Stakeholder workshop on instruments to support battery manufacturing under the Innovation Fund

Join the stakeholder workshop for a new EU financial stimulus of €3bn to boost growth of the battery industry organised by DG CLIMA

This workshop is a core element of the stakeholder consultation and will be complemented by a dedicated survey (link to the survey will be circulated shortly).

The aim of this stakeholder workshop is to present and discuss the instruments available and possible to develop under the Innovation Fund and how they can support battery manufacturing in the EU. Following the presentations from the Commission and the European Investment Bank, the discussion will open on the choice of the best instruments.

As a preparation for this workshop, particiapnts will be asked to read the options paper published on DG CLIMA’s website. This paper outlines different possible opportunities for Innovation Fund support to the European battery manufacturing industry.

The workshops will take place on 25 April 2024 in a hybrid format. In-person places for the workshops will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Online participation is unlimited upon registration and the event will be recorded.
